Animoto You can make awesome videos using photos, pictures, music and text.  The free account limits you to 30 seconds.  To join the Animoto for education you must apply for approval.

Camtasia is a screen recorder and video editing software.

Jing This is a screen sharing program that enables collaborative sharing.  You can add audio, text, and make tutorials.

Kizoa is a free slide show maker that allows you to edit, add special effects, text, and music.  You can email a link or share on Facebook.

Knovio is an innovative tool for turning PowerPoint® slides into rich video presentations with just a web browser and webcam.  With Knovio, you can take static PowerPoint slides to a new level with video and audio presentations that can be accessed anytime on-demand and shared with others through email and social media.

Masher lets you easily create a video by mixing together video clips, music tracks, and photos all for FREE!  You can share with facebook, embedd, and email a link.

PhotoPeach is a digital storytelling software that is completely online.  You can upload photos from your computer or grab them from Picasa or Facebook!  It makes the slide show for you complete with music.  You can share via Facebook, Twitter or email.

Prezi:  Prezi lets you bring your ideas into one space and see how they relate, helping you and your audience connect. Zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to see details — a bit like web-based maps that have changed how we navigate through map books.  It is free!

Roxio:  This is a photo show maker.  It is free.  You get a website to showcase your show and you can edit at any time.  You can customize it just like a TV!  You can embed, email, post to facebook, or even send to your TV.  You can create a DVD too.  The only small problem is the photoshows only last 30 days then expire.  You must upgrade to premium for extended life of your show.

ScreenHunter is a free screen capture software.

ScreenToaster is a free online screen recorder.  It can be shared and embedded.  you can share this via Twitter, Facebook, and other social media.

Simplebooklet is a cloud based self publishing platform.  You can create booklets, brochures flashcards, manuals, guides, etc.

Slidestaxx enables you to gather social media from various sources and produce a beautiful slideshow you can post on your blog, website or directly on slidestaxx. It’s fast, easy and free! Add pictures, videos, websites and more into your slideshow and then embed the slidestaxx into your own website or blog.

Storybird is a collaborative storytelling tool that you create on your own or with others.  You can embed this into a wiki, website, Moodle, or a blog.  It is an open Beta.

Vimeo is a software that you can upload videos and share.  It also offers a link to the video or you can embed.  You can also check out your stats!

Vuvox a free online sharing service that allows you to share video, photos, and music.  Create your digital story.

Windows Movie Maker:  With Windows Live Movie Maker, you can quickly turn your photos and videos into polished movies. Add special effects, transitions, sound, and captions to help tell your story.  It is free and you can share directly from Windows Movie Maker!

Yugma is a free web conferencing account.  You can use this to tutor, collaborate, or hold meetings.

Zooburst is a digital storytelling tool that lets anyone easily create his or her own 3D pop-up books. Using ZooBurst, storytellers of any age can create their own rich worlds in which their stories can come to life.
